This is a visualization of
ORPL, our opportunistic extension of the RPL protocol.
We run our
ORPL implementation in the
Indriya testbed for 60 minutes, in a data collection scenario (the destination is the root, at the top of the graph).
The experimental setup is described in details in section 4.2 of our
ACM SenSys'13 paper.
The graph reflects a logical network topology, showing all wireless links that actually carried data traffic during the experiment.
Nodes are shown in clusters, ordered by maximum observed hop count to the root.
This visualization is based on
d3.js.
Instructions:
- Press "n" to select next packet (shows end-to-end route to the sink)
- Press "p" to select previous packet
- Hover on a node to focus on a particular data source ("n" and "p" remain available)
- Hover on a packet (array to the left) to select it
Global Data:
- Average inter-packet inerval: 4min
- ContikiMAC wakeup interval: 500ms
- End-to-end Packet Reception Rate: 100%
- Average duty cycle: 0.45% (max node: 0.86%)
- Average hop count: 3.5 (max packet: 9 hops)
- Average latency: 0.48s (max packet: 2.92s)
Packet Data:
- PacketID:
- Latency:
- Hops:
